This notice explains how the Circle Finance website uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help a site work properly and can help the site owner understand how it is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way.
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are needed for the website to work. They do things like keep the site secure, help forms submit correctly and remember the cookie choice you’ve made, so we don’t ask you again on every page.
Because the site can’t work properly without them, essential cookies don’t need your consent. You can block them in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work as expected.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are visited, how people arrive at the site and roughly where they are in Australia. This helps us improve our content and make the site easier to use.
- Analytics cookies are only set if you choose to accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline, or don’t make a choice, they are not used.
- We don’t send personal information such as your name, email address or phone number to Google Analytics, and we don’t use analytics to identify you.
- We don’t use advertising, remarketing or social media tracking cookies. We’ll update this notice before we ever do.
Google processes analytics data on our behalf, and that data may be stored outside Australia. You can read more in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
How to change your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page to accept or withdraw consent for analytics cookies. If you withdraw consent, we will stop setting analytics cookies from that point.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers explain how to do this in their help section.
How long cookies last
- Your cookie choice is stored on your device for 12 months so we can remember it. After that, we’ll ask again.
- Google Analytics cookies usually last for up to two years unless you delete them or withdraw consent.
- Analytics reporting data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months, then deleted.
